What do yall think of Joerger as a coach? I've heard mostly good things

 

The eventual choice of Wallace over Levien is a good one, but the route they took to get there and the circus that's happening now are truly bizarre.

I don't know who's enjoying this more, me or you.

 

I'm somewhat torn. I'm enjoying watching Pera get even more negative attention after running Lionel off, but I want a competitive team.

Hearing reports that Dave didn't take the Wolves job and Pera tweeting Joerger never interviewed with Minnesota cause it didn't get that far and Dave is here to stay. Of course the radio talk show talking heads are going to have a crow dinner cause they were all saying if Dave didn't take the Minnie job he would be fired from the Grizz job. See signature.

Can't get past the paywall, but they've been pretty successful post-2014 (check the 2014-2015 playoffs) with awful injury luck.

If anything, we held onto the aging core for too long.

 

Your definition of successful and my definition of successful are very different.

 

They took GSW to the wire in 14-15 (before injuries).
Had historic injuries in 15-16.
Had a helluva series against SAS in 16-17 (Conley v. Kawhi was great).
Then tanked in 17-18 for a loaded draft.

They should have a solid team this year, but it might be time to fully initiate the rebuild.

I get that the core is losing its appeal, but this has been a really fun 8-9 year run in the middle of an absolutely loaded Western conference. Especially compared to the futility of the 0-12 playoff years under Hubie/Fratello.

 

If you consider going in reverse great, then yeah the last few years have been great. Tanked for the second worst record and the #4 pick. Geniuses in the front office.
