If they're willing to die for Freeze, the 'AA may make certain that they do. Link: https://www.seccountry.com/mississippi/ole-miss-ncaa-investigation-hugh-freeze-2017-noa You can read Ole Miss' entire response to the AA's NOA, here: http://athleticsworking.wp2.olemiss.edu/
I would be perfectly fine with Freeze being forced to coach middle school girls bball again (although I'd never let my daughter play for him) and Ole Miss get the death penalty.
I don't care thay players get paid, whether over or under the table. But, it is a rule, and when you get caught and play like you didn't do anything wrong, then I do care. I've got friends that had him as a teacher back in the Briarcrest days, and he's been shady since day #1.
Freeze is a worthless piece of shit. The only schools he could possibly be a better fit at are Auburn or Baylor
Report: Hugh Freeze’s Calls to Escort Services Lined Up With Recruiting Trips The phone calls to escort services that led to the removal of former Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze came while he was traveling on recruiting trips in the school’s plane, the Wall Street Journal reports. https://www.si.com/college-football/2017/08/16/hugh-freeze-ole-miss-escorts-recruiting-school-plane
So is it pretty well just assumed he was using the escorts solely for his own enjoyment, or was he setting up visits with recruits?
Are you allowed to take a recruit out of the home on a home visit? And would this not fall under extra perks? This might lead to a reduction in scholarships, potentially, I would think.
Honestly, they should be allowed to take the kid out to dinner. Kind of insane that most of these guys are from underprivileged families and they are preparing dinners for coaches making 5 million a year.
Freeze had Michael Oher and Greg Hardy on the same HS team at Briarcrest. He's been 2 faced for a long, long time.
