OSU v Clemson

I don’t know who will win, but OSU is trying to out-physical and intimidate Clemson.

And it’s working.

 

Clemson run defense looks rough

 

When you don't play anybody during the regular season it can hurt you in this situation.

 

I thought OSU would be physical with and get in Lawrence’s head but he’s been OK. But they are being enforcers elsewhere.

 

When the best team you've played is Texas A&M 3.5 months ago, you are going to have a bad time lining up against a team like Ohio State.

 

Not a good look, especially after how Dabo has griped the last 2 months.

 

Clemson D looks slow as hell.

I don't think anyone thought an expansion was necessary at the end of this year.

People have been whining about expansion since 2014. It’s a mortal lock that the field will be expanded to 8 teams starting in 2026. And yes it’ll suck big time.

 

And there is the hit I was expecting on Lawrence.

 

Some years, it would be nice. It should be elastic.

By rule, it's textbook. Now, that defender blows Lawrence's knee out, Clemson punts and there's no flag.

It kinda defeats the "making the game safer" point they hammer

 

Virtually never. Going to screw up the best sport around to account for something that might happen once in a lifetime.

 

I don't like it, but it's against Ohio State so I'm okay with it
