Both fighters gassed pretty quickly via adrenaline dump. That typically happens to UFC fighters in their first fight.

And then possibly the worst ref stoppage I've ever seen. Terrible.

I thought he was a former WR, not a DL.

 

Pretty sure the ref asked him if he could go on and he said no

 

Ref asked him if he could see and he said no. Give him a little time to recover from being jabbed in the eye before calling the fight

 

The ref asked him if he could see 3 seconds after the eye poke took place so I'm not surprised he said no. The ref was supposed to give him 5 minutes to recover.

i never could get into UFC, seems like it's about 10 seconds before it's 2 scantily clad dudes rolling around on the mat together

 

If he comes around a decade later he's a multi year starter for us.
