September/October on the gulf is great. Sun sets right over the water. Fewer people. Did Thanksgiving one year and really enjoyed it.

 

That sounds just right. Kids and wife never let me nap though. Not sure I even know how. Good at all the rest of things on the list.

Now if you take the compensator off and shoot it, it might kill you, just because that thing reduces about 90% of the recoil, and I have no doubt it would tear a vessel or two.

 

Many buddy Jay put 3 rounds through a bus full of people in Iraq and killed only aluminum.

Physics is physics, and the round is traveling fastest immediately out of the barrel.

If it didn’t suck his eyes out, while he was sitting in an enclosed container, where pressure would have been greater, it wouldn’t have done it down range, either.

At least that is what I was trained when I trained on that gun. I never deer hunted with it, though.

I’m of the opinion he hit the deer in the eye and it passed through.

My “evidence” is that the top of that doe’s head just above the eyes is as round as a basketball, instead of slanted, and there is blood oozing out of eyes and mouth, as if internal pressure spiked real fast.

I can’t prove or disprove it, not having been there. But that’s my belief based on a past life.
