Yeah, I agree. And it’s not that it’s some ultimate sin and today I don’t think much of it when I see it. But growing up it was a wild concept when I saw it.

 

See this is one of the positives of LGBT dating. I will very likely never even have to meet my partners parents(let alone deal w/ them for holidays), so very little chance of a meddling in-laws

My MIL is not super motherly, isn’t a home maker, wasn’t in business, and is religious but Catholic so socially not that rigid. So, we get along great. She just plays a lot of cards, which I’m down with. FIL and my politics are hugely not aligned but we are able to navigate that well enough. I got reasonably lucky.

 

Damn, can’t even trust contractors if they’re your own son.

Looks like ketchup and mustard spread on a piece of bread. Not much shape or flow to it, just looks like straight brush strokes while mixing red and yellow.
