OWH Memorial Undead Topic

I love running when it is 95 degrees outside and high humidity. Love it. Come back from a 3 mile run, after listening to a mix of music, drenched. It is less fun when it rains. I want to work up a sweat.

 

I've started going about 8pm. Humidity is only about half that.

My wife's ideal running temp is 35-40 degrees. I think she is equally insane.

jG, there is no wood for decks anywhere to be found in mid tn. Wtf?

 

It's a [itch bay]. I've got 9 houses to build and I'm struggling to get a full lumber package

 

Holy shit that sucks but also holy shit great position to be in a few months knowing you not only have a job but are backed up. Plus people cant [itch bay] if there is no product.
Last part of my total revamp. Spent less money than those cheap flippers on tv but we are stuck with base in and no planks for floor.

 

Dang, a deck was on my TODO list in the next few weeks. Didn't know there was a wood shortage.

 

Yesterday was pretty hot here. I know it got over 80. 'Twas humid in the morning too.

 

Comes a point in everyone's life when they follow Satchel Page's sage advice:

"Run as a little as possible."

 

I like the aftershokz bone conducting head phones. I can listen to music and still hear whats going on around me so that student driver doesn't kill me.

 

Hm, that might drive me nuts. I'm not a big fan of ambient noise. It knocks me out of my "locked in" phase.

 

It's wild. We just have orders flooding in from every direction right now.

 

Not just wood. It's getting hard to get composite and vinyl as well. Everyone is backed up.

 

Found some 8 footers about 45 minutes away.

 

I've got 5 of them sold and haven't dug footers on 3 of them

 

Decking screws were like gold a little bit ago.

Daughters best friends friends mom uses us for babysitting by spending the night as last chance. However, she's not getting picked up until 730 and mom has overplayed her hand this time. Wife is pissed.

 

Had to strip shitty paint, so I could stain it instead, and even out some planks on about 300sq ft. of decking with this thing

Worked great, but took damn near forever. Really would’ve rather just bought new planks.
