67th dumb thing I did this week:

Two nights ago after explaining to my wife that I had sort of accidentally purchased a tube amp listed on eBay, she was complaining a bit about my purchase of music-related gear. She was unimpressed with with my explanation that it was really cheap, I could sell it for more, or even make more money doing a little refurbishment on it or parting it out if I didn't like it. While she was busy explaining that I might have been a little foolhardy with my purchase, I was glancing at another amp I was more interested in and put in a last minute winning bid on this second one. Of course, I didn't and haven't mentioned the second purchase. When two packages arrive this weekend, I am not sure how it's going to play out. The real kicker in this is that both are head units only and need speakers/a speaker cabinet to be useful. I have those, but they are about 4800 miles away right now, so...

They were loud enough, but lack bass. I measured them against a $7 wired pair from Sony, and the Sony ones blew them away.

So I'm just going to not do true wireless.

 

I see nothing wrong here, I just ship stuff to my other house
