That is very true. The heat is gone, the crowds are gone, and the water is still warm.

 

It goes to Hell when the snowbirds roll in.

 

I have not seen that being much of a problem in the panhandle.

 

Probably not near as much so as it is the farther south you go.

 

It has likely been said before but when you guys reach 45 get a colonoscopy scheduled. Prep sucks but they're a necessity.

No, I'm fine. Just kept putting it off and got a wake-up call. It was silly to be so reluctant.

 

The flu shot was wimpy this year. I feel nothing.

 

They didn't have to put the tracker in the flu shot this year, since you already had it in the COVID one.

 

26th anniversary today. Wasnt sure we would get here 3 years ago when my wife got sick. Remembering my 12 yr old asking if mom was gonna die hits me in the gut.
Life isn't easy for any of us, but we find strength to get thru. For those of you who will have battles in the coming years, you can and will get thru them.
