Better late than never, but I finally got to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers live last night and it was worth the wait. Fantastic live band and they sound really good in person, even at nearly 60 years old.

 

I was watching some terrible B movie from the early or mid 80's that my wife heard about on her bad movie podcast. They were in the movie as the band at a party, as themselves, it was a "holy crap" sort of moment. They were recognizable but were absolute babies. They've been doing this for a long time.

 

I'd take you as my QB over Sab. No joke.

 

I wasn't expecting the level of energy they brought. Flea is a character, but also an amazing bass player. I don't think they missed one note all night. Some bands are clearly made in the studio. They aren't.

 

definitely a safer huddle and much less under center long count snaps with me.

 

I was also there and it was an amazing show. It was my first time seeing them as well. They are my favorite band of all time and it's taken me forever as well to finally go see them.

 

You know, attending a Red Hot Chile Peppers concert will keep you out of the Good Place.

 

I think it just counts against your score.

 

They’re not that high on my favorite list but I would like to catch them live at some point.

 

Not sure if anyone else on here has moved their kids out and sent away to school or new job in a new city. It’s a mix of emotions to say the least. Excited, anxious, worried…

His bass sets were amazing. Guy is fun as hell to watch.
