Pat Summitt officially steps down.

Terrible news, but a blessing.

 

This is what I've been sorting through in my mind this morning as well.

 

From what her family members around here are saying that is 100% true. The last few weeks have been awful. Not that her quality of life was any good but its hard to not wish that it would be taken from her.

 

Absolutely. Let us hope it is as quick and painless as possible. More for those around her, as Pat Summit has probably been dead for some time now.

The damn media is just waiting to be first in line to report it after the imminent comment from the pastor. Shameful, but that's the world we live in.

 

Sab has the tweet all typed up and ready to go. Hasn't slept in two days.

 

Sales are down, but those extra followers will so be worth it.

God rest her soul. What a life and legacy she leaves. One of the greatest Tennesseans ever.

 

I am very sad this morning. But I am glad it was a swift ending.

She is the reason I became interested in UT basketball. first the Lady Vols, then the men.
