Where's Eric Gordon now? He might be able to contribute at safety. Maybe let him backup Brewer and move whoever the SS backup is to FS.

22 players were signed. 11 are still on the team. Incredibly pathetic!

I realize Janzen is likely the best athlete that was on the team, physical freak, etc. But seriously....When I think about Janzen Jackson's 2 years at UT, I think the following things:

1) Made a couple of memorable hits
2) Made a few INT's
3) Missed a crap load of tackles trying to go for the homerun hit.

It's certainly a loss for the team, but is it a HUGE loss? Worth an extra loss on the overall record? Educate me on why I should be devastated about this news.
(Besides the human side of the story where he's addicted to substances, which obviously sucks)

 

Although disappointing, not all that surprising. I believe the staff was planning to redshirt Brian Randolph, that could be up in the air now. No doubt it will limit the nickel they seemed to be planning heavily on.
