Peyton Manning invests in 21 Denver Papa John's pizza shops - ESPN

I guess being the NFL spokesperson for Papa John's paid off

Needs to think of expanding to Knoxville in the future.

COMING SOON TO NEYLAND STADIUM: A Papa John's pizza place (ala Logan's Roadhouse at LP Field). Can you see a Papa John's delivery guy come to your seats during a football game?

Will he give it up once he gets into coaching, especially being QB Coach in the future?

    FIRE AWAY

Glad he's peddling the pizza version of Wonder Bread.

Papa John's is pizza? I thought it was sweet cheese bread. Oh well - a lot of folks are buying it.

Sorry, but that title goes to Little Caesars hands down.

I usually make my own pie but if its going to be from a chain, it's Dominos.

I like Papa Johns better than the other national chains. They were wise to get ahead of the competition with online ordering and giving points toward a free pizza.

I think Subways and pizza chains are impossible to screw up, as far as making money goes.

    The overhead is minimal.

I have built or remodeled around 50 Subways in Nashville. It's nuts how many go up and stay packed.

Smoothie Kings are another that seem to print money if they are in the right area.

Don't discount McDonalds either. Them and cfs are still the gold standard.
