Defense sucked it up and played some football 2nd half despite every drive staring in their Redzone. Offense was ho him but is only gonna get better. We won. All that matters

 

Dropped td pass, more dropped, off throws, ill timed penalties, fumble after 1st down, pr fumble from a db who shouldn’t be back there, punt blocked, bad start and 2nd half, Hooker didn’t keep on any reads, tipped passes going for first downs. Lucky.

 

Offense first in OT wins 56% of the time over the last 3 years. 53% for the last 6.

 

For the dumbasses that were concerned after game 1, you had reason to be. I will, as a dumbass, take the win, but for all the hyperbolic BS this week, I will say the concerns were justified. Thankfully it’s in the context of a tough win.

Now let’s fix things and get better.

 

We played like crap, and still found a way to win a road game against a ranked opponent. That hasn’t happened with this program in some time, I think perspective is warranted. We showed last year we can improve as the season wears on. For all the ugliness of today, merely getting the W means everything.
