I don't care if they are paying 25 cents per eye ball, it's still barbaric.

No shit. Fetal tissue being used in research is not news or shocking. It isn't illegal, either.

Are organ donations barbaric? Are autopsies barbaric? Why is using tissue from a fetus unacceptable, but embalming a dead child (which many who have a problem with all things abortion perceive an aborted fetus to be) not unacceptable? Please try to be rational.

I was thinking about donating a kidney but it seems too barbaric.

I was an organ donor should I pass suddenly, but the barbarism is too much for me to handle. I can just white out it off my drivers license, right?

It used to be legal to ban "coloreds" from using water fountains and other establishments. Did that make it ok then?

It used to be illegal for a woman to choose to have an abortion. It was not right to ban "coloreds" and it was not right to prevent a woman from choosing. Fortunately both situations were remedied.

that's your opinion, but the only point I'm making is that, of all the arguments, "it's legal" carries no weight, or the least, anyway

It carries the weigh of the government and those sworn to enforce its laws.

As it did in the scenario I presented that was also recognized as being wrong. Problem is, it seems that you want to go back to the antiquated law.

only argument I was making: "It's legal" is a bad argument.

you're trying to make a different one, that is generally fruitless to engage.

I think it's a valid argument considering much of the video was spent telling us how illegal it was

The video isn't relevant to what I'm saying

You're ignoring the context of this thread. It was stated that PP was doing something illegal. They aren't. Like I said from the start, people who are already against abortion are unsurprisingly horrified to hear about tissue donation from it. But it is legal, medically beneficial, and not a secret.
