Not sure how you mean this, but I know some really messed up rulings made by family court judges in custody cases that no rational person can say was in the best interest of the child. Similarly, DCS's practice of handing over custody of children from abusive/drug addicted parents to the closest relative, who will undoubtedly have the child(ren) around the original situation they were attempting to remove them from, is criminal. More about convenience/money than what is best for the child.
