This is most places down here. Except Chick-fil-A, those mother[uck fay]ers get you out in less than 5 minutes

 

Yeah I forgot about Popeye’s, and Bojangles.

The latter being better than the former, and slotting in between Zaxby’s and Cane’s on my list.

 

Bojangles is another one that takes a day's drive for me to get to. I remember eating a bunch of their chicken biscuits for breakfast when I was in God's country

 

Still think Popeye’s is better than Bojangles. Though partly because the Bojangles by my house is trash and I’m tired of NC folks who think it’s anything special.

Guthrie’s is good but I doubt many here have had it.

 

I can overlook the whole Jimmy Buffett thing, but you have just crossed a line sir.

 

Johnny for the WIN!!! That kickin’ Chicken sammich is the best. There was a place where I grew up (Columbus Ga) called Top Hat chicken that is now defunct but if mankind has ever put anything better between two slices of bread I’m not sure what it would be... it’s been out of business 20 plus years now (owner died and took the secret recipe to the grave with her) and folk still talk about it and nobody’s ever been able to duplicate it... many have tried and all have failed.

 

I’ve had Guthrie’s. Good stuff. There was one in Newnan for a minute but it closed down. There was a place in Phenix City called Chicken Comer’s... ever heard of it?

 

Up in Ohio for a tourney. Columbus is kindof a shithole imo. Flat af up here.

 

Speaking of overrated places, Dreamland barbecue is near the top of the overrated list, imo.

 

Columbus Georgia is where I grew up. I’d off myself if I had to live in Ohio.

Every chicken everywhere is trash.

Fried, broiled, smoked, baked, shredded up on nachos - all trash.

The way your momma and grandma made it? Also trash.

I’d eat at Sonic before I’d eat at Chik-Fil-A.

Here. try this one: my friend owns the Chik-Fil-A on Chapman Highway, and he is constantly giving me free chicken sandwich vouchers - at least 100 so far - and I’ve never used a single one, ever, and never will. I had about 25 or so in my truck and gave them to a guy asking for change on the off ramp or day. I’ve thrown dozens away.

Because chicken is trash.

 

I’m not sure I realized Knoxville ever had one. Was it near campus?

 

The hype is idiotic it couldn’t be more average.

The one on Kingston Pike, I think is a Denton’s and wasn’t there one on campus that is maybe the Cookout now? I could be making this shit up.
