Post-thoughts on Pitt thought (where Asmith gets our entire team injured)

We've had a very thoughtful board lately.

I was really concerned about how bad injuries were a season ago. I didn't think it was just bad luck. The Pitt game was pretty taxing and the team held up well. Combine that with the defense going back to how they looked before the Kentucky game last year, and I am more optimistic than I was a week ago.

Was anyone else pleased about this or is it too early to say anything about injury trends?

 

I think after Florida and a full month of football, I'll be comfortable noting a trend of less injuries. I have noticed too, though. but silently. Privately.

It's simple to me. We are in much better shape than everyone else. That will become more evident as the season continues and we are no longer playing teams who worked all summer preparing to match our pace.
