Exactly. Try doing that in the nfl. Btw Vick ran a 4.25. Manziel a 4.6 . Vick can run away from nfl players. Manziel not so much
And their position as GM will be short-lived, imho. If we were playing a pick-up game, I'd be all over him. I'm not sold of Manziel's success in the NFL, but I'm a nobody.
I have no clue where he will get drafted but I can't imagine he will slip too far. The marketability alone will have teams wanting to take him.
The media will turn on a rich white kid fast if he struggles and has issues. His off the field issues would only make them pile on more.
It will be like the Tebow phenomenon all over again. Everything he does will be magnified beyond belief but he's lived that life for a few years now, just on a smaller scale. He will put asses in seats and have people tuning in to watch him play. That spells dollars and what owner doesn't value that?
You can't really compare the two. I would wager that there are plenty of big league pitchers whose hands would be small enough as to almost guarantee they wouldn't be able to throw a football that well.
You must have missed the thread where he clearly stated that Manziel wouldn't be successful because 1) Mariota was better 2) he's played nothing but 1940s backyard football thus far.
why would i say manziel wouldn't be successful because mariota is better? that's some strange reading comprehension issues there.
