That would not get out for public consumption, if true. IMO

 

I'm calling bs too so I'll just grab my popcorn and see if anything comes of this rumor.

 

This was about the time that Chryst came in for JG and Florida was up 33-13.

Playcalling style didn't really change much, still a lot of runs on 1st & 10. 11 runs and 2 passes on first down for our last 3 drives, actually.

 

Not true.

However, Friend has had a heavy hand in the play-calling since week 1. A very heavy hand.

 

So who knows who is actually to blame for the offensive woes? Besides 5 offensive linemen.

 

Too many cooks spoils the broth.

 

Neither Friend nor Helton have 100% been the play caller at any stop. They are both relying on each other, they've worked together before.

The best OC on campus is probably Joe Osovet. I wouldn't be surprised to see him become an on the field coach in 2019.

 

Why not from the get?

 

Hard to sale an unknown JUCO HC as a first time HC's offensive coordinator and Pruitt needed guys he had worked with or trusted as coordinators. He didn't know Osovet that well. That's my take on it. He interviewed him for the WR coach spot before coming back and giving him a QC job.

 

Osovet would be a huge upgrade. Imo

 

This. His resume was not good enough yet for a first year head coach.

 

Bull. Shit. We get these type of rumors every time we lose a game like this. This is a spun version of the "He's not showing all the playbook." BS. It's not going to get better this year.

 

No I'm pretty sure it's mostly those guys.
