I think he was tactful. It's just the truth. And I like alt jerseys. They are gimmicks, though.

It's rare that a coach is bluntly honest, though.

 

It's nice not to hear bullshit canned answers after Dooley and Butch.

 

I like it. I like that he got to this point by some other means than a silver tongue, apparently.

 

I agree with no gimmicks and butch jones can eat a [penis], but the one thing I want to keep from the jones era is checkered neyland.

 

That can still happen if the fans do it. The first time it happened was pretty much fan driven and fan produced.

 

The more he talks, the more I like him. I think we have us one of those “old timey” coaches and I like it!!!!!!

 

He doesn't even ham it up with the good ol' boy shit that most would eat up from the VN crowd. I'm gaining more and more optimism by the day.

The question remains; will he have a DJ at the Orange and White game?

 

I'm as traditionalist as they come, however, I think the gray helmets would look good on orange/white uniforms. Especially on all white away games.

 

They were as close to strategy as Butch ever got.
