Look at all these missed opportunities by Milton on pretty routine throws. Yikes. I mean if he can hit all of those he's getting early season accolades. A pretty good indicator of why UT is 2-1 with some concerns instead of 3-0 and feeling pretty good.
On the first play on the video, look at the middle of the field on the 15 yard line when the ball is in the air.
That's what I see often, is that he isn't looking at the middle intermediate space. That's being left open a lot for him (probably because he doesn't look there anyway)
Old Number Seven is a great song by The Devil Makes Three. You're welcome. Yes it is a Jack Daniels reference.
I'm ok with that. Just go first read then get out of the pocket and dump it or run for 4-5. Hes so careless with the ball, I'm concerned he will have 2 early turnovers. He almost threw 2 pick 6s as well. I dont want to see any passes all the way to the sideline.
I really think Maurer would have us 3-1 and feeling really good if Milton had just chosen to go to FSU or something. He's like a taller, faster Dillon Gabriel. He's already proven he could hit a deep ball, too.
While you're probably correct in this assumption, I think it's telling that nobody has even mentioned him since he left especially considering the vast majority of media stories centering around our lack of QB play.
He probably had the best skill set for the offense. Great arm strength, accuracy, and very athletic. But decision making was just awful.
"Hey everybody, it's all been a mistake. Joe Milton is nearsighted and once we get him lasik he'll be ready to ball out!" -Volnation, probably
