11-2 season is not a bad way to hang it up.

 

Weird, he's only 56. Wanting to spend more time with family or something?

 

Im sure he has more than enough money to be comfortable for the rest of his life, and let’s be honest, this is probably the absolute furthest you can take ETSU football.

 

Congrats to him. He caught a lot of heat as OC here but ended up getting the last laugh. Not everyone gets to go out in their own terms…

 

The man never took a day off when he worked here. I think he's just tired

 

I imagine coaching years are like dog years.

 

Feel like he took a few Saturdays off

 

I wouldn't be shocked to see him back in coaching after a year or so off. And potentially at the high school level.

 

If you were set for life at 56, would you keep working 70 hours a week...

 

Depends on how much I liked what I was doing..

 

No way I would work 70 hours a week even if I liked it. So much else to do.

 

Yeah, I'd live in a single wide in Alabama before I waste 70 hours of every week working.
