I don’t think the era where stray dogs would wander onto the field of play should be compared to anything remotely recent.

 

If you’re talking about all time great runs in the entire history of UT football, Butler’s 56 yard run vs Alabama is on top of that list, dogs or no dogs.

 

A lot of that movie was filmed within 10 miles of where I’m currently standing.
