There’s no way Currie can do deals with any of the ADs or agents involved in this either. And anybody who might have read this. He burned so many bridges during that search.

I can't remember who, but some thoughtful, well respected poster on this site kinda liked John Curry and was surprised by the fact that he would have his head so far up his ass that he could see his own tonsils.

 

Overall, it seemed most on here preferred Blackburn, but were okay with Currie. He was behind getting Kiffin here, good fundraiser, yada yada yada. Then he went full Tenny on the coaching search.

 

Blackburn has made some pretty dumb behind the scenes moves at UTC to kill his chances of climbing the ladder again.

I’m not a big Leach fan, but the fact that Currie offered the job to Dave [uck fay]ing Doeren before him tells you just how shitty of an AD Currie really is.

I don't know all the details. Just that he made some behind the scenes mistakes that did not sit well with a lot of people.

 

I've been told that it was known Currie was a dud hire from the beginning simply because his introduction into athletics through fundraising via Hamilton.
