I agree. While we exited the tournament earlier than we all wanted to, the one thing he has done the last 2 seasons is get the attention of some big time talent. Getting James, the other 4/5 star commit this year, and the huge visit weekend we had for the UK home game is showing that top notch players want to come here and that we can actually land them.

I think they compete in Big 12 conference and IIRC they actually have won 2 conference championships.

 

We need to help Barnes find a new assistant. That wad of cash he got for his boys is burning a hole in my pocket.

 

Well I think Rick will understand if Phil makes some calls and just gets some numbers from folks. Just, you know, looks around. That's cool, right?

I'd offer him an additional 100k for every NCAA tournament win, not counting play-ins. See how that goes.

I'm seeing he is now the third highest paid coach in the nation. I knew this was coming.

 

Gonna wait to see if Grant and Bone come back before deciding if I’m happy about this one.

According to USA Today he was #10 at 3.25 million and #3 and #4 are at 4.15 million. Not really negligible, but not really that big of a deal I guess.
