Roundtable of Terrible CFB Head Coaches

Who are we inviting? Who are we considering inviting?

We can break this down into two categories:

Terrible Former CFB Head Coaches
Terrible Current CFB Head Coaches

Let's just start by tossing out names for consideration, and then we can discuss the merits of those nominated. The nominations are limited to FBS programs. I'll start with just a few to get the ball rolling.

America's Next Terrible Coach would be an interesting reality show.

 

I nominate Orgeron for that list. I don't care that USC went 6-2 or whatever against the PAC 10 under him last year. He was completely in over his head at Ole Miss trying to run an SEC football program.

 

I hope Muschamp is at Florida for another 10 years. Of course Foley probably won't let the ship sink fully until he pulls the plug on Muschamp and hires someone like Don Shula to replace him.

 

Jimbo Fisher isn't very good

 

Larry Coker must be mentioned.

 

At least they both have a ring though.

 

DDIAPOS is the King Arthur of the abysmal coaches roundtable.

 

I don't think Al Groh is top 5 most terrible.

Skip Holtz at USF was pretty bad. Gerry DiNardo?

Those were bad but perhaps not terrible.

Despite having several big school jobs, I think Rick Neuheisel sucks pretty bad.

However, he's a damn fine toll booth operator.
