Part one: I was just curious if other professions had regulating organizations that passed rules saying it was unethical to have sex with a client? Serious question. Accountants, doctors, financial advisors, etc.....can y'all bang clients? Or is this just a lawyer-specific idea? Part two: if so, have you ever gone ahead and put it in there balls deep anyway? Or at least thought really hard about it? Part three: I don't know of any divorce lawyers on here, but i"ll just assume that if there were, they would tell me that there's an unwritten exception to the "lawyer not banging client' rule that applies to divorce lawyers. Because OBVIOUSLY those guys are banging their clients.
Yeah, but that one makes sense because you're giving a grade. I imagine a prof can get some good balls depth on a grad student after the course is over.
1. Yes. It happens sometimes, but not often. 2. No, but have thought about it. Most of my clients are 30-50yo ladies with nothing to do but work out and spend money. Pretty sure my wife would frown upon it, as well as the husbands writing the check. Maybe. 3. Not a lawyer, but I know a few. It's against the rules, but I may or may not be able to name a few divorce attorneys that may or may not have had naked relations with their clients. Lws
3. If you're a divorce attorney and you haven't gotten into deep into some client gushy a few times, that means you need more clients or you're just starting out, or both.
Frowned upon, but really firm to firm. Know of o e instance of it happening. In fairness, they have been happily married a few years now. Stories from accounting world typically come from the big 4/national firm training events.
