I've always been shocked as to how much LSU fans hated saban. you'd think they'd worship the ground he walked on.

Similar in a lot of ways to why Kentucky despises Pitino.

5 I think. Just long enough for Ron Prince to time warp them to 1988.

Maybe Saban goes to Texans instead of Texas... seen they have a HC opening.

You think he would test the NFL waters again?

makes a lot more sense to me than going to another college gig.

Saban could be the first coach to win NC titles at 3 diff schools. Don't forget his ego

Don't think any NFL team would be willing to pay $10 million a year, Texas would, just to show they could.

I don't buy it. It's far more money than necessary. Texas may have the money, but there's no need to go there.

They do if they want him that bad and he demands it. Economics 101.

I thought Jimmy Sexton was his agent.

And it would still be a good value

Ain't happenin'. There's a lot of room between his current $5.5 and the rumored $10. That figure would pay him double the next highest paid college coach, and $2.5 more than freaking Belichick. He'd be paid more than any coach in America, including the NBA and NFL. That's not going to happen at the University of Texas.
