rumors are fine, but sab's theory there is a formal offer is absurd. No AD deals that way. Now I could see a verbal agreement with terms to be sorted out later, but a formal offer? no way. Imagine if by some miracle dooley turns it around and wins out. Highly unlikley surely, but the press the ad would get for actually writing up an offer would be terrible. Fire the dude publically and all bets are off.
