    Fantastic finish to an already excellent SCOTUS season.

    Alito, for the majority, succinctly puts both this issue - and any alternative attempts to continue the practice - to bed, and thankfully, for good:

    I'm good with this decision. I also think Unions should be allowed to only collectively bargain for their members (I think current law requires to cover everyone). Non-union members should not be covered under collective bargaining agreements. If they think they can negotiate a better deal than the unions, then don't be a part of the union.

    I'm struggling to figure out the objective here. I can name some reasons for doing this, but I can't logically tie them to this decision.
