I think they looked average everywhere. Tennessee just looked like a team that barely beat UMASS, so UGA looked great.
Luckily, we get to see in a few weeks. I just liked the way they looked vs Miss St and UT. Yeah, we are horrible, but they made us look really, really horrible. And there is something to that in my mind. EDIT: UGA's offense is woeful. I am mostly talking about their defense.
It's not personal. It's the split loyalties thing. It's weird to me. Feels like hedging your bets. (I know you have explained it.)
Give me a team with a average offense, good run game, and lock down defense and I'll take my chances.
What if I tell that defenseive line to get set two yards off the line of scrimmage, have the RBs do delayed option handoffs with a QB that can't run, and have that inexperienced QB pass it 40 times a game?
