Severe Weather Thread

Understandably so. Pictures there looked rough

 

I don't blame them at all. They've got every right to be pissed.

 

I24 closed for a week due to mudslide. Gonna be a mess

 

first ever February category 5 typhoon.

Its 85 and steamy here.

 

Chance of snow (no accumulation) tonight. Was 70 last week.

 

It's snowed all day here, no accumulation

Southeast Alabama got hammered yesterday. Hope all of our resident Vols in Exile are OK.

 

Sounds like it killed quite a few people. Terrible.

 

deadliest tornado event in awhile, I think. could have been even worse.

Alabama is the new tornado alley.

I like the cold.

I like snow as long as it doesn't stick on the road.

That is terrible. Isn't it a little early for tornado season?

 

A little I think. I think the huge Alabama tornado in 2011 was early April.

 

And in that part of Alabama that same area (in and around Smiths Station) always seems to get hammered. And it’s a poor area with a lot of mobile homes, so it’s brutal for those folks.

 

April 27th. Was supposed to be going out for my birthday. Stayed home and watched it storm instead.
