I walked my dog this morning at 6:30 and it was 4 American degrees outside. I reflected on how happy I was to sleep in a house at night.

Thanks because I've got people [itch bay]ing that their whole home generator ducks because their lights flickered when the heat pump kicked on

I’m too old to be chopping at and sawing wood. Prime heart attack actions. Every year we hear about shoveling snow heart attacks so I at least never have to shovel snow.

Ya, it is how I find the best snow shovels. Got to walk up to them backwards though. Dont want to leave a trail.

Somewhere in the 7 to 8 inches range here. Dogs had a blast. Son shoveled the driveway. I’ve done nothing.

We had about 8"-10" over here. On top of the ice/snow from previous week. Wife said one of her Senior Chair Aerobics students reported 11". We still have a ton in the shady front. Not sure when that will melt. I ain't shoveling anything.

Wife can get her car out, that is all that matters. Never lost power.

Saw the State salt/sand trucks out today. Recycle pick-up finally happened, 6 days late. Garbage pick-up happened on schedule before the roads were impassable.

Brother, I apologize that I missed this or I would have helped out.

As your heart is most likely not located behind your patella, you should be okay provided you take occasional breaks. So in the next winter storm, get out there!

crazy thing is my brother had a heart attack shoveling his walkway last week. Drove himself to hospital and ended up with angioplasty and stents for 90% blockage.

Damn, glad he's okay, or at least glad he got treatment and is on the mend.
