while these numbers are great and all, didn't he inherit an already amazing team? and it's a lot easier to recruit to Miami... I'm sure he will still be a great coach for us though!
Not really. Only way he gets promoted to HC is if Tennessee wins at such a high level that Dooley leaves for a better job. I don't see that happening.

He also is adamant that going 6-6 next year and making a bowl game will buy Dooley another year. And of course, all of the sheep on VN agree thus lowering the expectations of this program.

Another undervalued thing I think some people are forgetting about is the possiblitly of Shannon giving us an in with some of the recruiting hotbeds in Florida.
