Who is UT targeting...include JUCOs if you know of any. Rivals has UT at 39 which isnt bad for a class of just 14 right now. Cade Mays going to uGaG hurts.
5 * CB Issac Taylor Stuart 4* CB Olaijah Griffin 4* Juco OL Jahmir Johnson 4* Juco OL Johncarlo Valentin 4* WR Jacob Copeland 4* LB JJ Petersen 4* LB Quay Walker 4* S Nadab Joseph 3* TE/DE Glenn Beal 3* CB Eddie Smith Plus I’m sure there’s a few more I’m forgetting about.
And Tennessee could be considered the leader or at least tied for first with Griffin, Johnson, Valentin, Copeland and Petersen. Walker has a good relationship with Pruitt. Smith decommitted when Tennessee offered. Taylor-Stuart and Beal are the longest shots in my opinion Joseph is UGA bound
That would be quite the haul. I want Griffin and Taylor-Stuart. I hope Pruitt's background as a respected DB coach gets them both
We could take up to 30 but we won't. 247 composite ratings have us at 26 right now. Started today at 58th Pretty good day
Early enrollees are going to enroll early regardless of it, they have for years, so it doesn't help there
Keeps kids from getting left in a lurch due to no fault of their own, I suppose. If you want to end your recruiting and sign, and the person you thought you were signing with wants you to wait, you can move on. Rather than scrambling for a backup school as the classes are all filled.
True. I think a signing period prior to the season would be better for recruits. I.e., no where you're going to college at he start of the school year. College coaches do not like that, though. They want to see them play a little more before signing
28th on rivals but those ratings will drop once Flint, Grant, and possibly Litaker are not on there. Class success hinges on JUCOs.
Early signing probably helps the group of 5 conference schools the most. It allows them to lock down their class and not worry about the P5 schools offering these kids last minute to fill their class.
C'Bo Flemister was a Georgia Tech commit, he didn't sign and said he's waiting until February due to Tennessee showing interest.
