I’m not sure if David Luiz makes our backline any better (it probably does) but with Papa, it definitely gives us one of the biggest shithouses in the Prem.

For whatever reason, he’s not a complete liability for his club like he is for Brazil. And he’s played for Emery before, so I’m cautiously optimistic.

And he’s better than Shkodran Mustafi, which says more about Mustafi than it does Luiz.

Yep. I even heard British announcers saying maybe Pulisic isn't "ready" for a big match like this one, yet, at Old Trafford. Really? The dude who has started a Champion's League game against Real Madrid and played in the Bundesliga for three years isn't ready, but Mason Mount from the Championship is good to go? Man, after so long watching the German league, I had forgotten how unwarrantedly pompous the English were about the EPL.

Four players in a scrum, ball is kicked in and it deflects off the arm of a Man City player and to Jesus who scores. The arm was not out of place or on purpose.

VAR that allows the game to slow down to milliseconds takes away a winning goal.

Just seems antithetical to the game. Same as replay in the NFL that takes away a play because of something that happens in a nanosecond.

Handballs are it’s biggest question mark imo.

I'd take him over Arriola or Zardes or Morris. Really anyone besides Pulisic.

    Yawn.

If he doesn’t grab the shirt Salah probably scores. He could have taken Salah down on his second goal and gotten a yellow, but he already got one trying to save the first goal.

And we need him next Sunday, so I’m ok with him not getting a second yellow on the second Salah goal.
