Might be the best story this year: https://betweentheposts.net/atalanta-gian-piero-gasperini-tactics-divine-rise-serie-a-elite/
I prefer Chelsea but don’t keep up with it at all. Don’t care if they win/lose like I do with the Vols. It’s the only EPL stadium I’ve visited, and with Pulisic playing there, it just makes sense.
Stamford Bridge is definitely one of the better EPL stadiums I’ve been to. It’s smallish and old enough that it’s a good place to watch a game, but it’s also been renovated within the past 20 years so it’s not a complete dump. Also in a really nice part of London. Everton fan BTW.
If y’all aren’t doing anything Wednesday afternoon at 3:45 I suggest watching Atalanta vs Lazio. You think you know about Serie A but you don’t.
That was very nice. Of course, our back line sucks as usual, giving that shitty ass ball away like that. But damn good run and goal by Pulisic. Which means Lampard is going to bench him the next 6 games. Are they piping in crowd noises or is that just NBC adding it?
No Pulisic goals for Chelsea are okay, good, great, etc. etc. Only Pulisic goals for the USA can be or have superlatives.
Why did it sound like the crowd was going wild when he scored? Is there a crowd somewhere we can't see?
If Liverpool wins the league, but nobody is there to see it, nobody can celebrate together and there’s no double decker bus parade, do they really win the league? I say no. Good luck next year!
Always a good day to beat Portland. Hate seeing a rookie most likely tear an ACL less than five minutes after making her professional debut though.
