No Adams and McKennie in the midfield is very noticeable, as is the talent disparity of the MLS guys. I think we are going in here with the hope we can weather the storm for 60-65 minutes and get someone like Hoppe, Busio and/or Aaronson in there to steal some points.
Berhalter is such a shit manager. He has better options if he wants to rotate the squad, but he feels more comfortable with the shit players who have experience over talented guys like Busio and Richards whom he could play. Instead, we get Lletget, Zardes, and Arrioala trotted out there. We are lucky Zimmerman is eating up everything in his area, thus far. But, another shitty first half. Berhalter's hire continues to annoy.
I’d rather see Busio out there than Acosta or Lletget. I don’t care for Zardes but I haven’t really seen anybody else in that position make me want to see them either
Matthew Hoppe. And, we better see Joseph Scally in the fold for the November matches. Unfortunately, Berhalter will probably sit him for 5 matches to get "used to" international play.
Ugh, Berhalter. Why are you taking Munsah out for Adams and not Acosta or Lletget? At least Arriola is out.
Weah was a non factor. Probably as much due to us not being able to make 2 passes in a row as anything he wasn’t doing
