Apparently the contract is for two years after the end of this season. I assume that means he’ll be the next Director of Football.

Good European teams get left out every cycle. If they didn't set it up that way, the smaller countries would never make it.

 

The 4th place in the CONCACAF Octagon plays Oceana for a spot in the World Cup. Very fortunate draw, could have been South America. I expect Panama or whoever is 4th to win that.

 

That means New Zealand, which should be a winnable, if a little tricky, home and home for whomever is in 4th place.

 

So New Zealand? Yeah, if you can’t beat up New Zealand you have no business playing in the World Cup

 

The Paralyzing Superclap is always a concern when traveling to New Zealand

 

They will play a tough parking of the bus and Chris Wood is a decent striker to steal a goal somewhere. On a good day, they can frustrate, but any team in our region should win that series. Mexico only beat them 2-1 a few years ago.
