Hmm, this makes me wonder if ole Greg was treating him extra tough from some level of familiarity.

 

I can't think of anything more white bread American than a Soccer Mom overstepping boundaries to complain about a coach not playing her boy enough minutes.

 

I agree, except this wasn’t the more typical instance when everyone else is rolling their eyes and thinking “he’s not even that good.” We all thought he should have gotten more minutes too.

 

Only thing I’m upset about is that Claudio failed to get the job done.

Yeah, feels like he needs to, essentially, tell his mom and dad to sit down and shut up publicly.

But he’s going to be getting a lot of side eyes from not just Gregg or any other manager/coach, but teammates, staff and front offices.

 

OTOH, Karim Benzema blackmailed his fellow countryman and teammate with a sex tape and he was allowed back on the team and won the ballon d’or so also maybe not.

 

Thought this was cool. Bit shocked at the valuations of MLS franchises.
