Yeah, not sure why we did it with this hire, but I'm glad we did. I don't know that much about Shoop, but at least we weren't afraid to open the pocketbook and go get the guy we wanted.

 

It still sounds like Dave Hart is more concerned about pinching pennies than return on investment.

 

Hopefully this will be an ongoing trend for future hires. UT has too much going on to go bargain basement shopping for coaches...
