Pruitt seemed genuinely pleased with day 1.

Twitter reaction to videos is to name Bailey the starter tomorrow.

 

I have seen no videos. I’m also ready to name him the starter.

The one video I saw had people going crazy and like every high school QB in Tennessee would make the throw. Not knocking him, just people are hilarious

 

To be fair, JG misses those kinds of throws routinely.

 

In games, yeah

 

And also in practice

 

According to Pruitt it is an open competition at QB with six guys currently getting equal reps.

Guarantano
Maurer
Shrout
Bailey
Hill
Holiday

 

The competition will be between JG, Maurer and Bailey.

Holiday may get a few snaps as a change of pace.
Wouldn't surprise me if Shrout leaves after the spring.

 

Only reason Shrout doesn't is his girlfriend on the softball team. We all know women are undefeated

 

I honestly believe he's going to give Bailey every chance in the world to win it. I think the entire staff wants someone other than JG to step up

 

JG would be a great backup.

 

He's got one good quarter of football in him a game, it seems

 

Have you guys considered the impact the Coronavirus and this potential cure UT is developing could have? What if we withhold it from everyone except our student athletes? Trophies and trophies and trophies.

I don't expect that group to be intact after April tho.

 

He does seem to be more focused as a backup, less pressure maybe. In small doses sometimes he's effective.
