A lot of this information has already been given in other threads but putting it all under one roof. -Jauan Jennings is back on the team, will miss spring with minor knee surgery. -Trey Smith is out, but has been able to work out some. -Carlin Fils-aime and Tyler Bird will start spring practice at defensive back. -Ja’Quain Blakely will start spring at tight end.
Too small for what Pruitt wants his running backs to be. Need help at defensive back and he’s a good enough athlete to help.
Why? Fulmer flipped running backs to defensive backs all the time. Everyone has a fresh slate under Pruitt, and it’s not a very deep defensive backfield.
It seems like every time we try this, there's an injury at the guy's original position. He gets moved back for depth, but is too far behind now to learn the new system and make an impact.

You've got 2 or 3 pieces there (assuming Smith is healthy and can play) that frankly, have never been coached. It's not going to be late 90s-esque, but the line can be serviceable.
