Spring Practice

Grade issues?

 

Crouch is not struggling any more than any other freshman. The coaches are hard on him because they know he is going to be a stud.

 

I hope so. Our LB group hasnt been solid in a long time. Spend more time grabbing and reaching than seeing plays and blowing them up in the hole or backfield.

 

They will definitely be better this year but we are at least 1 more class away from being SEC level.

 

I don’t want DKjr playing this year. Rather his snaps go to a young player.

Linebacker recruiting needs to pick up. We’ve signed 1 true ILB in 2 recruiting classes.

Peterson and Crouch are projects that never played ILB.

Hoping Henry T is the truth.

 

I'm thinking Beasley ends up a LB

Personally, I miss the no-read-non-option-option by the slowest and least athletic player on the team.

JJ hasn’t been at practice this week.

Simonton asked Sherrer yesterday where JJ is and all Sherrer said is he’s had a good spring.

The JJ Peterson talk is confusing. A good friend of mine is dating someone very close to the training department and they have raved about JJ and the work hs has put it. Talked to her within the last two weeks and the story was the same. He is doing great. Odd.

 

G, he has missed maybe half the practices or been to the side. Being that he came in late last year, more reps missed is concerning to me.
