if folks mean we aren't winning the east, okay. if folks think we are going less than .500, I don't see it
The oline will be serviceable. Solomon becomes eligible, the starting dline is going to be okay. Middleton and Williams come in ready, there's depth there. Kivon Bennett has come on as a decent pass rusher.
Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Missouri, Kentucky, and Vandy. I feel like Vandy can go either way, depending how the season has gone up to that point, but I feel like we lose a bunch of games, so we mail it in.
I still think 7-5 is about right. If OL and DL can take a step this year I could see 8-9 wins counting a bowl.
On Nov 10th, I didn't see us giving up 100 points in the next two weeks, but it sure as shit happened. The only things that gave me any kind of hope from what I saw yesterday is that Bryce Thompson and Callaway look like they can create TD's out of near nothing. It still looks like the OL is trash, I still see a front 7 that's going to lose us more than it wins. I don't see a noticeable improvement on last years squad, and while the schedule favors us more in terms of winnable games, I can't get over the last two games until I get a reason to.
Listen, they will be a lot worse this year, but if we're in the midst of another run where we get run by Florida and everyone lauds us for not losing by 40 to Georgia, then lose to Muschamp again, then a loss to Kentucky would not surprise me
I won't get boosted up for another football season in Tennessee, or the Dolphins either. We had top recruiting classes with Butch and got worse every year. I think Fulmer did the best he could do with what the situation was, and Pruitt is a no nonsense guy, and i hope Chaney makes a difference, but we are what we are. 5-7, 6-6, 7-5, it's all the same at this point. And by the way, [uck fay] a bullshit 7-5 bowl game. I don't care anymore. Wake me up when we're winning 9+ games.
