I think 7 is about where we end up in the regular season. We get an 8th win going to a bowl.

If Pruitt finds 5 losses on that schedule in year 2, we're [uck fay]ed.

this is August thinking. I'm still at "just make a bowl, show improvement"

We'll have a new offense excuse this year.

Chaney has to use Chandler, Callaway and Jennings correctly. Force feed Ty 25 touches until he gives out, he's the homerun threat. Hopefully Banks can hold onto the ball and Gray can help out too. Jordan is a dependable guy to get 3 or 4 yards, but he's not a big play guy. Throw the bomb to Callaway and let Jennings be a possession guy that abuses smaller DBs. There are pieces to be a good offense.

On defense, it's all on the youth to become playmakers. You've got Taylor, who needs to be consistent off the edge. Kivon Bennett played well in limited time and lost a lot of weight to be a stand up pass rusher, he's one to watch this spring.

Tennessee has to find big plays on both sides of the ball.

After the last 15 years, there is no more disappointment.

I'm going with a show attitude and hope to be pleasantly surprised. Floor is win 7 + bowl win and look competitive and improved in the losses. This staff can sell that into an elite 2020 class.

I can't help but feel optimistic for the upcoming season. I like the staff and CP made some good coaching moves to upgrade. There's some good young talent on the team that may need to get a few games under their belt but believe they will finish strong. That may just be the vol homer in me coming out but I can't help it.

Pretty much what I got. Mizzou, USCe, MSU, are all interchangeable on the one loss outside of UGA, UF, and Bammer. I still see Bammer as the only "chalk it up now as a loss" game. UGA and UF are winnable but unlikely. The rest are all very winnable games. I'd be thrilled with 8-4 next year.

UGA having to resort to Coley made me happy. Eddie Gran came out firing with "offered me the job" and I almost wept tears of joy that UGA couldn't lure any halfway decent coordinator there with all that talent.

I think we get Georgia after the open date at home. Pruitt will not want to lose that one. Then I think Miss St. gets us after the big win over UGA.

I think we’ll beat either Florida or Mizzou this season. We damn sure owe Florida for that shitfest last year.

I will never again count Florida as a win. Every year I compare them to us and think we have a legit shot. Always disappointed.

And it’s always some freak bullshit too. Either we have 47,312 turnovers, blow a 268 point lead or it’s some other equally ridiculous way to lose.
