I actually had to think about whether or not he actually said this.

This is the sad state we are in.

 

I don't think a two kicker system is that crazy. Some guys are accurate but don't have range. Medley can be the inside 40 yards guy and the other guy will handle kickoffs and long field goals.

 

This actually happens a lot. Also you have your PAT/FG kicker and you kick off kicker sometimes.

 

I'm thinking Saban has done it a time or two.

 

It happens quite a bit. Alabama had a kickoff and long range guy and another for shorter stuff a few years ago

Cade Foster and Adam Griffith combined to miss 4 FGs in the Kick 6 game. Although for some reason, Griffith isn't officially credited with a FG attempt for the one that got returned.

Cade Foster and Jeremy Shelley split duties for like 3 years.

Splitting between kick offs and field goals is not "splitting kickers", IMO.

 

Foster took longer field goals as well, I believe.
