"The past two years whenever the other guys were starting in front of us," Kerbyson said. "Me, Mack and Marcus held ourselves accountable. We called ourselves the best #2's in America. We said that everyday. 'The best 2's in America lets go out there and whip some ass. The chemistry between us is great. We mess together really, really well."
Looking at 247Sports. Except for Wharton, Pearson, Carter (Young was labeled a tailback) and Alton, our WRs look more like TEs. Blair looks very slimmed down. More than likely I'm jumping the gun as it is only the first practice. However, I wasn't happy seeing CBJ say the QBs accuracy was an issue. I expected significant improvement from all of them. Again, I'm certain I'm just overreacting. Sus scrofa domesticus Howard seems to have not missed too much except needing to shake off some rust.
1st D during walkthrough was DE-Vereen/Maggitt DT-O'brien/J. Williams LB- Johnson/JRM NB-Coleman CB- Sutton/Moseley S- Randolph/Swafford
Worley the Heisman candidate, nevermind being the winner? HAH! And Hah again. However, I do believe if that OL is even halfway decent, whoever is under center is going to do very well with the receiving corps we have. We might even beat Bama if the OL can even slow down the Bama DL so the QB can throw the ball at all. But CBJ's comments did bother me a lot.
Was surprised to see Swafford in there. He must have impressed, but I'm sure there will be changes. Really hope Saulsberry gets back into the groove. Need production from him and Owen Williams.
Swafford was a walkon who performed pretty well last year. Surprisingly so as a matter of fact. It remains to be seen if he can keep his starter status once the frosh CBs hit their stride but Sawfford was pretty good last year. Not spectacular but pretty good. He might have gotten better.
