If a title is heavily team oriented how would it move the needle in particular given the nature of the performance?
I said it's the only measure people put him short of others. Most total wins, all the major passing records by a sizable margin.
It's not everything, but it matters. Kobe's 5 rings move him higher on the all-time list, but not into the top 5 or 10.
But that didn't cost them the game, according to him. I mean, it's just your last possession in the Super Bowl, down 6 points. No big deal.
The guy is who he is. The title simply takes the argument against him, that he is all stats and one title and that he "shits the bed" in pressure situations that keeps him from winning more, and makes them look stupid.
Sans his "I might have got a boo-boo" comment, that statement is much more credible. Unfortunately for Cam, he's already made statements that not only contradict the highlighted statement, it blows it out of the water.
I get that. I just think the "HE ALWAYS FOLDS" hot take ignores things like the 2010 Iron Bowl and the majority of his NFL career. My point this whole time has been that anyone can pick out individual examples and act like they're representative.
That's fine with me. I just despise the guy. Then again, I admit I'm not a fan of the flashy style. And get off my lawn!
Again, I said the same about LeBron in 2011 when everyone was calling him Le[itch bay] and citing the freaking All-Star Game as proof. I just don't like selective arguments based on incredibly small sample sizes.
